This book was quick, filler read for me as I've been reading nothing but ARC's and it was nice to get lost in this second chance romance. Shelli Stevens is not a new writer to me, but it has been a while since I've read a book of hers and boy am I glad! This is the beginning of her McLauglin Series, I now must save up to buy the rest.
This story is about Ian and Sarah. High school sweethearts who were separated for 11 yrs until her Grandma's death brings Sarah back home. The animosity between the two was a bit difficult to overcome, but these two wer just meant to be. I adored their lovestory, even it's tragic ending because it made them realize that life isn't alway perfect and flaws are to be appreciated, not spurned.
Definitely will be catching up with rest of this series of siblings.
