Ok. I needed to sit a few days with this review because the subject matter is near to RL issues for me and I had to sit with it and think on what I wanted to say. Luckily and thankfully, this did not trigger anything for me, other than a standing ovation for Valentina! This girl rocks. To have gone thru what she went thru and come out on the other side, whole and loved? That was the fondant on multi-tiered cake that I want to serve all those who have done me wrong, with a special ingredient *wink* added as well.

Fiero lives up to his name. This man is smoking hot, has an attitude that screams "I will burn/smoke out anyone who stands in my way", and is unapologetically combustible in his pursuits. Poor Valentina didn't see this one coming and I adored every second of their journey.

It's always great catching up with the Mazzone clan and seeing were everyone is at now. I adore this series of book and each and every character in it. This is a world I never want to leave, but eventually - I know - will come to end. It will be a sad day for me when it does. Like saying goodbye to a beloved family member.

I can wait - patiently - Christian's story, but my patience only last but so long. If this is a drug, then I'm gonna need a fix soon.
