More and more of late, I've been taking much needed social media breaks. The constant updating, dramas, and narcissistic attitudes of some has been off-putting and quite frankly, I just don't have the bandwidth to admire/"like" what's going on.
I'm still stuck in December 2021, when I was informed that my father had passed away. I'm stuck in February 2022 when I was on phone and told my grandfather had passed away in a foreign country, there would be no funeral, and he would be buried so far from his homeland.
So, to muster up any excitement about what's going on in the SM is not a priority, cuz frankly speaking:
I DON'T CARE WHAT'S HAPPENING IN YOUR PERFECT WORLD.
However, when I decided to finally come out of my shell and see what's been happening, I am met with the latest DRAMA happening in the Author/Writing world? Cuz really, Faleena wasn't enough to get our together and learn to support each other, not tears up down?
I'm truly sick of some people in Author/Writing world & I've reached my limit!
You are GROWN. ASS. ADULTS.
ACT LIKE IT.
Use and display the common sense I hope to God your parents instilled in you - to know the difference between what is right and what is so very wrong! Some of you have reverted back to those tantrum children on the playground that you used to be see and/or be. Quite frankly speaking, you need more than a time out. You need your ability to speak and convey your thoughts taken away. Permanently.
Let me be frank - people are allowed to have their own thoughts/feelings about whatever. You are allowed to disagree. However, do it with respect. Same goes for the person dishing out their thoughts/feelings. ALWAYS. WITH. RESEPCT.
We can all agree to disagree on any subject matter, but you are NOT allowed to: bully, threaten, taunt, disparage, undermine, belittle, verbally abuse, send your minions to speak/attack on your behalf, encourage self harm or any of the like onto someone you are having a disagreement with. Seriously?! This IS juvenile and beneath YOU.
SHAME. ON. YOU. ALL!!!
I'm so sick of this. It's just made my decision ever easier to take a step back from the Literary world. Y'all are too much right now, and you shouldn't be.
Jesus, take the wheel.
