Final Score - 4 Stars!
First off, I wanted more closure for Arsene where his mother was concerned. That literally broke my heart. Second, I did not expect to like this book. I don't know why, but something told me I was in for it. Third, I am so glad that monster is D-E-D, DEAD. Not to mention the cheating scums. Ugh, the worst people EVER.
Poor Winnie. Ugh, girl I feel like we are soul sisters. And Arsene. Well, it took me a bit of time to warm up to him. I'm still lukewarm in my feelings about him at best. I just didn't understand his thought process, reasoning, and that toxic relationship! Yeah, I'm still not over that part. Don't really know/feel if Winnie/Arsene are the perfect match together but, they managed to work it out.
Still processing this book, but I did enjoy the escape it offered.
