Well, now. That is what I call an EPIC epilogue (or rather wait to see what's in store in the last book)! At the end of the previous book, we saw Devlin and Ellie with a happily ever after ... but we know he's still keeping her in the dark about certain things. In this book, they've expanded on those dark parts and boy oh boy, the hits just keep coming for this couple!
Strange text messages, cars accidents, a VERY 'mysterious' writer, & dare I say - friends who aren't friends but frenemies. That shocking revelation I didn't even see coming?! OMGness, poor Ellie - Poor Devlin. I just don't see how these two will come out of the other side of this. There's still so much to uncover and shed light on. The constant tug and pull of the threads that are holding them and their relationship together, is slowly starting to unravel at the seams. And to add some drama on top of that, Ellie's still digging into her uncle's mysterious past - this is a sure recipe for more disaster come!
And again, we're left with a cliffhanger that had my jaw on the floor! Who spilled the beans? How will this effect Ellie and Devlin's already fragile relationship? What more skeletons will fall out of the uncle's closet? How will they survive this and end with a happily ever - cause I'm scared here folks!
