Sweet Fate by Laurelin Paige
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Final Score - 4.5 Stars!
The epic conclusion has arrived to Audrey and Dylan's story. Can one incredible hot night change the course of one's life? For Dylan Locke, it has, and he's not sure whether to be happy or flipping angry about it. See, Dylan has gone back to England and Audrey back to finish school in the States. They are worlds apart in their wants and needs, but "kismet” or is it "fate" has other plans for them. Audrey ends up in England working at the Museum of Art, and somehow ... someway, Dylan finds himself in her immediate path and well - those old sparks get reignited.
But has Dylan changed? Does he want more of a future with someone - namely Audrey? Or will it just be a repeat of their adventure in New York all over again?
I loved the angst, the chase, the push and pull – everything that made this a true will he/won't he.
Because it came down to Dylan and whether he was finally willing to let go of the past. I loved that conversation that he finally had with his ex-wife (the she-devil) - it was a long time coming and something that needed to in order for him not to loose out on the most precious find - a second chance at love. I can't wait to read the next book to spin off from this one - I'm sure it will be even more angst driven! Bring it. I do so love a good drama fest.
