Review: Sinner

Sinner Sinner by Sierra Simone
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Final Score - 5 Sinning Stars!!

I’m just at a loss for words! This book is powerful in its message, thoughtful in regards to people's different views/feelings about religion and God, and just ... ACK! This book is not only amazing and well though out, it's life changing - making your confront your own feelings. I'm not a religious person. The last time I stepped foot in a church or place of worship was when my brother got married nearly 7 years ago. I have my own issues with God & religion, but this book help me to see that we have issues. Some are complex, but others are more identifiable.

This story centers around Sean Bell (a self proclaimed Sinner) and Zenobia Iverson (a believer of God). Though neither are truly aware of it, each at a turning point in their lives. Sean turned away from God years ago and Zenny is preparing to devote her life to God. Sean makes money (lots of it) and takes care of his family, especially his ill mother. Zenny takes care of everyone but there's just something she's missing out on. Both come together and find in one another a soul that is not only deeply troubled, but a soul that needs mending ... for something is missing in each of them that would make them complete.

This book ... lord have mercy! Hot. So HAWT. Each page of steamy, frothy hotness was not only seizure inducing, but panty-melting hot! This is my first EVER Sierra Simone book (I really need to get onto Priest & Midnight and her other books) and I have to say ... what an introduction! I've been converted. This book will leave you heartbroken, devastated, but will also show you the beauty in life.

I've just finished this brilliant work of art and I can’t say enough! I am forever changed. I just know now that I will not be able to read another religious themed book for while - which means that Priest & Midnight Mass will be a while for me). #MajorBookHangOver
