It's been a while since there was a Jamie/Ryan book, and I'm glad. It gave the build up needed to write this book, a continuation of their love story. What's a love story without some Jamie/Ryan drama?
The focus of said drama - Ryan wants to make Jamie his ... legally, but of course our former party girl wants non of that. Or does she? Will they find a compromise to their standoff? What is Jamie's real issue with marriage? Or will someone from Jamie's past alter her future with life changing news? I won't tell you what happens, but as with all thing Jamie and Ryan, the course isn't exactly smooth.
I loved revisiting characters and how J. Kenner incorporated the snippets of Damien & Nikki and Jackson & Sylvia - these core characters are what make this series enjoyable. The sexy time and humor are also cleverly written.
This is not only a quick & fast read, but a great read as well
