Vincent is just trying to keep the memories at bay and work in bakery shop. However, each and everyday Evey walks into his shop for her standard large cup of coffee & blueberry muffin, he thinks of things he wants - family, wife and home.
Evey is just trying to make it from day to day - work the bar she co-owns with her brother, sleep, repeat the next day. But there's something about the new bakery man that calls to her.
Factor in an irate Irish mob boss who wants her at all costs, a bar in debt, a baker man with a shadowy past and you have an action pack road to romance! I enjoyed the HECK outta this story! I loved the characters and the development of not only the big bad, but the relationship between Evey and Vincent as well.
The ending was perfect and fitting! There's nothing I would have changed about this story. This was the perfect read.
