The Billionaire Bachelor by Jessica Lemmon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Final Score - 5 Shoulda Woulda Couldna Walked Away Stars!
***received ARC from Netgalley in exchange for honest review***
A marriage of convenience? All for the sake of gaining a job promotion & a hotel? Do "deals", or "mergers" like this really happen? If so, just know that they NEVER will work out in RL...
But in this story, they almost didn't. Almost.
Merina wants to save her beloved hotel from a corporate takeover. Reese wants to be CEO of the family company. These two in a perfect world would have, shouldn't have EVER met... but they did. And right away the sparks start to fly. I could tell Reese was intrigued by Merina's passionate spirit about her family hotel, quirkiness and all. So, of course it ALL had to be his idea to join forces - in business and in marriage.
And here's where everything starts to fall apart. Cause no matter hard you try NOT to mix business and pleasure, its an almost guarantee that it WILL happen. No one can plan for it. But like I said before, the sparks to flame were previously lit from their first meaning, so you knew where it was heading.
But what a RIDE! By the end of this story, no one escaped unscathed.
I thoroughly enjoyed Reese and Merina's banter, their wit, their business sense, and most of all - the passion! These two had it and then some - in SPADES!
I can't wait to read the follow-up which will deal with Reese's brother Tag. Another self proclaimed "Ladies Man".
