I enjoyed this book...so much so, some nights my sleep suffered. I couldn't put it down. I wanted to get inside of Jaxon's head, his reasoning for his actions, the things he does ALL in the name of Revenge. I mean, wouldn't you want the person(s) responsible for such a horrific event in your life to suffer?
Charlotte was confusing at times, her reasoning/actions. I mean, I would have walked - Never stay in a relationship without substance or where the only glue that holds you together is in the bedroom, between the sheets.
And while to sex scenes were HAWT ( ;) ), I felt that was there only connection...I mean, how can you confuse loving someone/knowing someone with a relationship purely based on S-E-X. Other than hopping into bed, I didn't see them connecting, except when he makes his demands of her.
I say a few more chapters where they ACTUALLY had a normal conversation, or as normal as Jaxon could let it, is needed to sell this to me.
