It took a while for me to get into this book. Maybe I was distracted and picked it up at the wrong time to read, or maybe it was just slow to start & I couldn't connect with the characters like I normally do. Whatever the case, I buckled down and finally got into it.

And can I just say... WOW! I've shocked myself by how much I liked it.

The only thing I didn't like was the build up to the great reveal about Connor. It confused me at time why he was remembering screaming and then nothing else. Left me feeling frustrated as to why this was introduced until it was finally explaining chapters later & before the end.

Otherwise, and enjoyable read in which I'm sure some of us can relate to - high school, jerks, nemesis, etc.
