I have to admit... There were several times while reading this that I wanted to bop Hannah over the head. Her fears and pseudo-explanations were driving me to my breaking point! However, once it became clear what she was in fact holding back, I could see her side of things. Granted, no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. But the lesson is learn from them and move on, which she eventually did. I don't know how I would have been able to, in her shoes, but to me, it was plausible and true. Again, I was a bag of tears after reading this one, but all in all... by far one of my favorite reads.
